After the completion of EDP training Rs 12,000/- each was deposited to the individual’s account of 200 women, in order to initiate and develop their small business enterprises. It was indeed a great boon to women to enhance the economic conditions for their families as they have been affected by lockdown during COVID -19 pandemic.

Climax of the EDP program was held on 29th March 2022 at Spandana Trust Social Welfare unit, Jeppu, Mangalore Mr Felix Dsouza the Executive Director of FVTRS, Bangalore, encouraged the women entrepreneurs to carry on the small enterprises with dedication and courage. Mrs Jacintha Alfred the cooperator & Ex-Mayor and Mr Felix DSouza the Executive Director of FVTRS and Mrs Jimmy Mathew programme Coordinator of FVTRS, Bangalore symbolically handed over the cheque to Mrs Molly Crasta, one of the business entrepreneurs. Sr Cicilia Mendonca BS, the Provincial Superior of Bethany Sisters of Mangalore province, Dr Thomas Scaria, the Director of Ecolink Institute, Sr Sylvia Fernandes the Superior of Infant Mary Convent, Sr Helen Fernandes the Administrator of Spandana Trust was present on the dais. Mrs Clara DCunha, the field coordinator of FVTRS Sr Anna Maria, the Secretary of Jevandhara Social Service Trust and Sr Leena D’Costa Coordinator of Sahodaya, Mr Victor Vas, the coordinator of Spandana Trust, Mr Soorya Narayana the animator from Dharma Jyothi Centre, Vamanjoor and 200 women entrepreneurs were present.
